An objective of the Victoria based IslandHF Radio Association is to assist local newcomers to HF radio operation.  Newcomers who are looking for support on basic topics such as antennas, station setup, dx’ing, propagation, contesting, etc. Some questions may well result in the newcomer being invited to a member’s station or a member visiting a newcomer’s station.  We do not want to discourage newcomers from asking questions, but if you are outside the Capital Regional District please see if there is a local club that can help out. If not then please contact us – we will do what we can to assist you.
