Nine IslandHF radio amateurs from Qualicum Beach, Duncan, Langford, the Malahat and Victoria spent two hours chatting, eating, drinking and laughing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some new initiatives for our club were proposed. One, in particular, is very exciting. We can&#8217;t tell you about it right yet but it will require lots of help from club members. A working committee has been struck and will be led by the Qualicum Beach team with John MacFarlane VA7PX and John Eyre VE7JEY leading the initiative. More news to come in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;d like to invite other members of IslandHF to initiate the idea of creating your own team. A team of two counts!
