An objective of the Victoria based IslandHF Radio Association is to assist local newcomers to HF radio operation.  Newcomers who are looking for support on basic topics such as antennas, station setup, DX’ing, propagation, contesting, etc.

Some questions may well result in the newcomer being invited to a members station or a member visiting a newcomer’s station.  We do not want to discourage newcomers from asking questions, but if you are not resident of Vancouver Island, please see if there is a local club that can help out.
