Five IslandHF members (Alan VE7UBA, Andy VE7PT, Roger VE7AP, Brian VE7JKZ, Glenn VA7HC) got together in an Oak Bay park to participate in the 2025 ARRL Field Day. Two transceivers were used: Alan’s Xiegu and Roger’s ICOM 705. QRP power (with a tiny bit extra) was fed into Andy’s “Chameleon Modular Portable Antenna System (MPAS) Lite” (both as a whip and a sloping wire) and into Alan’s “antenna was his version of a design that is commonly known as the “POTA Performer”.
