Nanaimo Hamfest 17 September
I received this from an amateur friend in Campbell River. Nanaimo is an easy drive from here so going to the Hamfest is convenient. The downside is that I’ll probably come back with more stuff, which doesn’t help with my efforts to downsize…..

Thanks!

Alan,
I’ve not been to Nanaimo Ham Happenings in the past although I have been to similar events in Duncan and Courtney. I’m only interested in bits and pieces that would be useful to me as one who builds his own HF equipment; usually I come home with something. I also meet up with people not seen for the past year or more. How big will the Nanaimo event be? I’ve no idea, but you could ask the sponsor a few days beforehand how many tables have been sold. Worth the drive? Depends on your expectations I suppose.
