Simon VA7BIX did a crazy POTA on May 11th during the G5 storm when the A-index was 272 and the K-index was 9. He was on 20 meters with a ton of static. He’s running 100 watts with a 10db gain on the salt water. He starts CQing at 15 minutes in the video. And makes contacts! In fact, he gets a pile-up!
